I just wrote this poem for a friend of mine who I love to death, but I can't decide to give it to him or not. Let me know what you guys think:
Your sultry, beguiling eyes
call to me, make me realize
my utter devotion to you.
You could enslave me,
torture me, or make me be
whatever your heart desires.
Such power is contained
in that sweet face, and pain
lies in your soul, deep and empty.
Your vengeance will be
my death, the very end of me.
But what did I do?
I would give you anything
you could think of, even your dreams.
If I could, I would give you heaven.
I'll become for you whatever you want,
to make you happy is all that I could want.
But I could never be enough for you.
Your sultry, beguiling eyes
call to me, make me realize
my utter devotion to you.
You could enslave me,
torture me, or make me be
whatever your heart desires.
Such power is contained
in that sweet face, and pain
lies in your soul, deep and empty.
Your vengeance will be
my death, the very end of me.
But what did I do?
I would give you anything
you could think of, even your dreams.
If I could, I would give you heaven.
I'll become for you whatever you want,
to make you happy is all that I could want.
But I could never be enough for you.
